"Embarking on a study of the martial arts is an arduous journey, but one filled with both tangible and intangible rewards. With devoted practice, students realize a greater physical vitality, flexibility and self-confidence. Additionally, as each individual moves slowly upward through the ranks, concentration and spiritual awareness grows.

Many people undertake the study of martial arts with preconceptions as to their nature. The best advice I can offer is that you leave all your previous notions of martial arts at the door and enter our studio with an open mind and readiness to "set to with a will". Give yourself time and expect no magic, there is none, only sweat, patience, and perseverance."
