Born and reared in Lexington, Kentucky, Master Mason has made a valuable conribution to American Martial Arts. His system deals with many aspects of Martial Arts training. Che-Lu's uniqueness and effectiveness is due to the variety of forms that it incorporates as a part of its style and the advanced techniques it uses. Master Mason is a retired Police Chief, a member of the Order of Kentucky Colonels, the Kentucky Chief of Ploice Association, the Fraternal Order of Police/Lodge 8, and the Frankfort Habilitation. He is also a member of Rotary International, the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and the executive director for the Kentucky KICK/USA (Kids In Competition Karate).
