Last week I paid a visit to Shodokan Sydney, to see how Ray Mazzone and his students are faring. I went on Thursday night, which is their evening for higher grade students (not for beginners) and found two 3rd Kyu green belts and two black belts hard at work.
Back in the days when I trained there, it was called the New South Wales Tomiki Aikido Club. But now it is called Sydney Shodokan. It's the same thing, really, but now with a stronger than ever link to the Japan Aikido Association.
