I was in Matilda's shortly after it was opened and was quite pleased with their food and service.
After about two years we went there again. They didnot have anymore their original selection (for example ostrich). Kanguru entree was very small and expensive. Other entrees were not impressive either. They reminded a 24-hour diner food but highly overpriced. It seems that chicken wings were boiled(or microwaved) prior grilling.. The server did not know what red or white wine was... It was thursday night, could it be the reason of such bad service? We went to the bar after dinner. The bar and bargirl were good. But most likely we won't return. They still have that sign "..voted #1.." - not for us!
