It is owned and operated by Howard Gaines III, a Delaware resident since 1962. In 1997, I purchased my farm in Harrington and on it was a young crop of barley. The first problem I had was with thousands of snow geese eating my barley crop. The second problem I faced was how to get rid of them. Armed with my canine training background and my Giant Schnauzer, Cody, I went to work. The snow geese were quickly "persuaded" to leave the barley field and FIRST STATE BORDER PATROL was born!
